idle problem

my car surges from 1,000 to 2,000 rpm's
i checked for vacume leakes but found none.
i have a 2001 gsr with a jrsc 10lb pulley
440 injectors hondata s100. tried to tune the motor today with no luck. air fule was perfect, but only put down 208whp 142tq. someone please help.

You really need to be more specific man. Have you just installed the SC? Has it been on for awhile? Has the Hondata been on it the entire time?

A quick search on the archives shows 2 possible causes for a hunting idle or high idle. One is a Thermo Valve, and the other is the IACV valve.

However, if the SC was just installed, and then it wouldnt idle right, You didnt install something right.

check your fast idle valve.

I did it and it fixed my idle from surging.

when i put the blower on the idle problem started. hondata has been on the whole time.
i have no fast idle valve, 2001 gsr.

woohoo i fixed my vacuum leak today. i also put on my kamikaze header. but now i'm only getting 5-7 pounds of boost. does this seem right? i was getting 9-10 before today.

a better flowing header will "reduce" boost you see on the gauge. You are still making the same PSI, you exhaust is just flowing better.

I dont think you should be worried
